Drop Shadow

A drop shadow is a graphical effect used in digital design to enhance the depth and visual appeal of an element by adding a shadow behind it. This effect simulates the appearance of a light source casting a shadow from the object onto a surface, creating an illusion of three-dimensionality. The drop shadow can be adjusted in terms of color, opacity, angle, distance, and blur to achieve the desired look. Commonly used in web design, graphic design, and user interface (UI) design, drop shadows help elements stand out from the background, making them more prominent and easier to distinguish. This technique is particularly useful for buttons, text, images, and other key visual components.
